Samsung announces the addition of its Samsung HZ30W high zoom, point-and-shoot digital camera. The 12-megapixel HZ30W offers the same wide-angle 24mm Schneider lens as its predecessor, the HZ10W, but extends the telephoto capability of the range from a 10x optical zoom to an impressive 15x optical zoom. The cameras’ high-performance Schneider Kreuznach lens is also paired with Dual Image Stabilization (IS), which allows users to capture crystal-clear images using both Optical and Digital Image stabilizers. The Samsung HZ30W features a large, 3.0” TFT LCD.
