Samsung Electronics, a worldwide leader in camcorder innovation, introduced a new lightweight DVD camcorder that features a new Schneider Optical Lenses. This is the first time Samsung's camcorders will incorporate high-quality, standard-setting Schneider optical technology into its camcorder and the Samsung DC173 camcorder is designed with the everyday video enthusiast in mind. The Samsung SC-DC173 offers superior video quality and easy-to-use features that allow consumers to capture life's important moments such as a baby's first steps, fun vacation memories, graduations and other not-to-be missed moments. The Samsung SC-DC173 will be available in April 2007 for a MSRP of $369.99.

PMA 2009 - The digital SLR camera market is booming. Compared to last year the DSLR camera sales increased with impressive numbers and it seems the digital SLR camera has become a mass consumer product.
