Samsung is going to unveil a new 10 Megapixel digital compact camera; the Samsung NV11. The Samsung NV11 incorporates a 10.1 Megapixel CCD image sensor and a 5.0x optical zoom lens. Like its predecessor the Samsung L74 digital compact camera features ASR (Advanced Shake Reduction) which prevents the degradation of image clarity and colour common to flash Photography. With ASR the effects of camera shake are reduced in lower light conditions. At this moment it is not clear when the new Samsung NV11 will be introduced, but PMA 2007 is in sight!

According to Engadget there is a new Samsung digital compact camera coming up soon. Although the Information is not official yet, the product shots that are published speak for themselves. The Samsung i7 incorporates a 7.2 Megapixel CCD image sensor and a 3x optical zoom lens. The new Samsung i7 is a so-called PMP device which can be explained as a Portable Media Player. With ASR the effects of camera shake are reduced in lower light conditions. You can take well exposed, sharper pictures in low light without using a flash.
