Sony Cybershot DSC-H1 Preview: The night before the PMA kicks off, the press gets an invitation for a Sneak Peak evening. During this night, location Walt Disney Dolphin Hotel in Disney World Orlando, Florida, some manufacturers are given the opportunity to introduce their new products on a small scale. Sony introduced a large amount of new digital cameras on this day, and our attention was caught by the Sony Cybershot DSC H1 digital camera.

The new Sony Cybershot H1 is equipped with a proper 12x optical zoom  combined with a Super Steady Shot image stabilizer. The camera is rather compact and light weighted. The back of the Sony H1 features a beautiful 2.5 inch LCD monitor which makes precise composing of a subject and sharing the images with others extremely easy. The model demonstrated at Sneak Peak is an early sample and not yet ready to be delivered as a production camera. It is good to see Sony seeking for a connection with the Megazoom digital cameras, on the other hand I'd like to see a successor for the Sony Cybershot DSC F828. The next few weeks we will get more information of new series of digital cameras, and more than likely we will pay attention to the available test models as soon as possible.
