Kodak announced the latest addition to its award-winning line of consumer digital cameras, the Kodak EasyShare Z712 IS Zoom Digital Camera, with high ISO and image stabilization for taking great action pictures in any lighting conditions. “The powerful high ISO with image stabilization gives consumers the ability to take incredible pictures in any lighting conditions,” said Pierre Schaeffer, Chief Marketing Officer of Kodak’s Consumer Digital Imaging Group. “Kodak continues to deliver easy-to-use digital cameras with higher performance features to consumers who are looking for new ways to advance their digital photography experience.” Available in April, the Kodak Z712 IS will retail for US $299.95 (MSRP).

PMA 2009 - The digital SLR camera market is booming. Compared to last year the DSLR camera sales increased with impressive numbers and it seems the digital SLR camera has become a mass consumer product. New entry level D-SLR cameras with 6 Megapixels surprisingly were welcomed very well by the amateur photographer and it seems that within this segment of the digital camera market the resolution range of 6 - 10 Megapixel fulfils the need of the amateur photographer.
