This one just slipped through I guess. The Kodak EasyShare C813 features a Kodak AF 3x Optical Aspheric Zoom Lens (35 mm equivalent: 36-108 mm) that captures crisp details and gets you closer to your subjects without losing picture quality. 5x digital zoom enlarges your pictures even more. Naturally Kodak couldn't fail to present themselves at this PMA 2007 show being a home player. The size of the Kodak booth at the Las Vegas convention centre was remarkably compact and therefore very well-organized. The digital compact cameras that had been introduced during the PMA were of course showcased on the docking stations that are nowadays looked upon as a standard. Striking is the new Kodak EasyShare Z712 IS digital camera with its inbuilt image stabilizer. Fortunately Kodak carries on with their trend of optical image stabilizers.

PMA 2009 - The digital SLR camera market is booming. Compared to last year the DSLR camera sales increased with impressive numbers and it seems the digital SLR camera has become a mass consumer product. New entry level D-SLR cameras with 6 Megapixels surprisingly were welcomed very well by the amateur photographer and it seems that within this segment of the digital camera market the resolution range of 6 - 10 Megapixel fulfils the need of the amateur photographer.
