Kodak introduces the new Kodak Playsport camcorder, a rugged, durable and pocket-size HD camcorder with an appetite for adventure. The Kodak Playsport camcorder is specifically designed for consumers with active lifestyles, allowing them to capture full 1080p HD video - even underwater - with the touch of a button. The Kodak Playsport camcorder is waterproof up to 10 feet and features built-in software and USB cable output so users can edit and easily share with family and friends through sites such as YouTube and Facebook. The Kodak Playsport also features electronic image stabilization and Kodak Imaging Science for sharper videos with vibrant colors and less blur.

When Kata introduced its Global Digital Collection to the world for the first time in 2004, it gave photographers something new to look forward to - a line of protective carrying solutions, everyday traditional designs and redefine what a bag and case should be. The PMA show, or Photo Marketing Association, continues its yearly tradition of maintaining a network of photo imaging as well as the experience and know-how of the industry. The PMA represents 20,000 members from over 100 countries, who are all active within the imaging industry. As a reflection of the changes in the market, the PMA organization has also changed and has become more diverse. Nowadays, the member group consists of representatives coming from photo retail, manufacturers, commercial photo labs, professional sports and news photography, in addition to small album print suppliers and photo processing centers. The PMA 2012 Trade show focuses on an industry which is heavily affected by the unstable situation of the global financial economy. However, whether the latter will also stand in the way of the innovation and product introductions, remains to be revealed by the PMA International Convention & Trade Show in Anaheim Convention Center (California, US).
