Afew weeks ago LetsGoDigital was invited to visit the factories of Manfrotto, Gitzo and Avenger in Italy. Four days in sunny Italy to get a better idea of how the high quality products of Manfrotto, Gitzo and Avenger are made. The factories are in Feltre, right in the heart of a beautiful mountain site. Arriving at the factories, right away I had the feeling of a relaxed atmosphere with good working circumstances. If looking at the products, at Manfrotto, Gitzo and Avenger you will find anything a photographer might need to place or secure his camera, flashes, studio equipment etc. The following Bogen Imaging Factory Tour report will give you a look behind the scenes.

Background information, product development, vision, technical discussions, etc. are all issues that we encounter in our relationship with the industry. During events such as the PMA 2010, we find many image world leaders in one spot; a good time to sit around the table and discuss some subjects. We cannot always publish everything we hear, since we also frequently get to hear off-the-record statements, but what we are allowed to repeat, will be published as background information in an interview. We hope to find out during the PMA show in which direction camera manufacturers are headed with their DSLR cameras. Will a system other than the Micro Four Thirds System emerge and turn out to be a strong competitor? The PMA Trade Show is the place to be to learn about these developments.
