PMA 2010 Report
Gitzo, revered throughout the world for its precision, quality and innovation in bringing new products to market for both the professional photo and video industries, is proud to announce that it has redesigned and improved upon it’s breakthrough 6X tripod technology. At PMA 2007 in Las Vegas, Gitzo will be demonstrating some of the new features of the enhanced 6X line, which include a new state of-the-art leg locking system. Since developing the first carbon fiber tripod in 1994, Gitzo has been the world’s leading authority on composite materials for camera support systems. Exclusively manufactured in Europe, Gitzo’s carbon fiber tripods are the most technologically advanced camera supports available.
At PMA, Gitzo, a world leading manufacturer of high-end, precision supports for the photo and video markets, will be showing off its line of aluminum Series 2 tripods. Sure to turn heads with new and improved features, a sleek matte black finish and new materials that significantly reduce the overall weight when compared to regular aluminum, Gitzo’s innovative Series 2 tripods set a standard for performance and give aluminum based supports another leg up! The two tripods revamp the traditional and highly successful Gitzo aluminum range with a revolutionary design. While the competition uses 0.8mm or 1.00mm tubes to reduce weight, they’re unfortunately at the same time compromising overall stability.
