General Imaging P1 photo printer

Spectacular looking prints from a spectacular performing 4" x 6" photo printer. Features ultra-contemporary design, 4800 x 1200 dpi resolution, advanced three-color ink, 75-second print time or 105-second print time, USB 2.0 and PictBridge ports, a 2.5-inch LCD monitor, and a 25-sheet loading tray. The new GE cameras are getting their first public showing in an 8,600-square-foot exhibit General Imaging created for the show. "We know that the GE brand is very well regarded, and research shows that 76 percent of those surveyed would be interested in buying a GE camera," said Komiya. "This makes GE the perfect partner for delivering a high-quality product that is easy to use."

DKS Minilabs Win DIMA Shoot-Out

A jury of photographic imaging experts has determined that output from the DKS 1770 and DKS 1610 digital minilabs, manufactured by KIS Photo-Me Group, is superior to any of its competitors, and has awarded the minilabs first prize in this year’s DIMA Shoot-Out image quality competition, it was announced at the Photo Marketing Association Convention and Trade Show here. This is the fifth straight year that DKS minilabs from KIS Photo-Me Group have taken top honors in the DIMA Shoot-Out. This year, the DKS 1770 was selected for best image quality in the up-to-12-inch-wide category, while the DKS 1610 was selected best in the important up-to-8-inch-wide category.

KIS creative photo corner

While most exhibit booths at the Photo Marketing Association trade show are displaying imaging equipment, the KIS Photo-Me Group is dedicating significant space in its booth to My Creativ’ Corner - where show attendees can see and brainstorm ideas for creative consumer photo products that increase a photo retailer’s profits as well as its reputation among consumers, KIS Photo-Me Group said. The Swifti is on display at the Photo Marketing Association trade show, March 8-11 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, in the KIS Photo-Me Group Booth, C232. It’s an excellent product for non-photo businesses - such as vacation hotels, college bookstores, amusement parks, campgrounds, nightclubs, shopping malls and conventions centers.

PMA 2009 - The digital SLR camera market is booming. Compared to last year the DSLR camera sales increased with impressive numbers and it seems the digital SLR camera has become a mass consumer product. New entry level D-SLR cameras with 6 Megapixels surprisingly were welcomed very well by the amateur photographer and it seems that within this segment of the digital camera market the resolution range of 6 - 10 Megapixel fulfils the need of the amateur photographer.
