Fujifilm RS-MMC and miniSD cards plus High Performance series introduction. With the breakthrough of the digital camera to the mass-market also the demand for flash memory cards rises with the same speed. At this moment the size of the market lies in Germany around 9 million pieces a year and in relation to the previous year we can see a rise of more than 50%. However the flash memory cards are not only used in digital cameras, but also to store pictures, text and sound into PDAs, notebooks, MP3 players or mobile phones. Fujifilm constantly develops their assortment of Fujifilm flash cards and will soon offer two new different type of flash cards. Additionally to Fujifilm's current assortment, which is now offered under the name 'High Quality', a new series of 'High Performance' cards will be introduced. Both type of flash cards use the proven SLC (Single Level Cell) technology which stands for Speed, Longevity, Compatibility and efficient consumption of energy.

Fujifilm High Performance card: Higher speed for professional use
The Fujifilm High Performance cards represent a Premium assortment and offer the user more: they are optimal co-ordinated with the needs of the professional user, economically in the energy consumption and remarkable fast. The SD cards of the Fujifilm High Performance series stores data with up to 10MB per second (66x speed), the CompactFlash cards up to 12MB per second (80x speed).
These Fujifilm cards are particularly suitable for professional users and when it concerns large volume of data: professional photographers and novice amateurs will appreciate the increased memory speed while handling RAW data, with continue shootings or while recording video data. The Fujifilm High Performance cards are available as CompactFlash, SD (Secure Digital) and as miniSD cards.

Now also Fujifilm RS-MMC and miniSD cards
RS-MMC and miniSD, which are often used with mobile (camera) phones, will now also be available under the name of Fujifilm. The Fujifilm RS-MMC cards will be delivered together with an adapter; by the use of this adapter RS-MMC will be handled as a standard MultiMedia card which can easily be used with digital cameras, PDAs, PC, notebooks or photo kiosks. The provided adapter transforms also the miniSD into a standard SD card, which can be used almost universal. Fujifilm also offers all standard flash memory cards and covers with it more than 90% of the market. All cards are immediately available. |
