Delkin SLR cleaning set

We also spotted Delkin's Sensor-scope system at the PMA 2009. The cleaning set for DSLR image sensors, awarded with various Awards, has been enhanced since the last Photokina 2008, with support for three sizes of sensors: 24mm, 20mm, and 16mm sensors. I must admit I have not tried out the set personally, but colleagues that have are all very enthusiast about this (rather pricey) cleaning system. I fear the Sensorscope system will not remain a sales hit much longer, since gradually more and more digital SLR cameras are appearing on the market with a built-in anti-dust system. Digital camera skins from Delkin

Posted by: Ralf Jurrien Wednesday 7th, March 2007

Delkin Devices announced the new Snug-It digital camera skins. These attractive camera skins take protection far beyond the competition. Snug-Its incorporate a revolutionary new design feature. Intricate molding results in flexible silicone petals that protect the lens itself. Other skins only have a cutout to allow the lens to expand and retract - the exclusive Snug-It lens petals open and close over the lens as it moves in and out. No other camera skin offers protection this complete. Snug-It skins are custom molded, ensuring a perfect fit and full functionality for every camera model. All controls are molded into the skin, which makes using the camera simple.

The PMA, or Photo Marketing Association, continues a long tradition of maintaining a network of photo imaging as well as the experience and know-how of the industry. The PMA represents 20,000 members from over 100 countries, who are all active within the imaging industry. As a reflection of the changes in the market, the PMA organization has also changed and has become more diverse. Nowadays, the member group consists of representatives coming from photo retail, manufacturers, commercial photo labs, professional sports and news photography, in addition to small album print suppliers and photo processing centers. The PMA 2010 focuses on an industry which is heavily affected by the unstable situation of the global financial economy. However, whether the latter will also stand in the way of the innovation and product introductions, remains to be revealed by the PMA International Convention and Trade Show in the Anaheim Convention Center in Southern California, USA.
