As always, Canon's presence couldn’t be missed at the PMA 2009. The brand needed a lot of space to present all its latest products. If we look at the Canon digital cameras, we find a large series of IXUS and PowerShot cameras new in the assortment. These digital cameras offer lively colors and stylish designs with the latest technologies to make digital photography even easier. Canon seems to provide a wide array of cameras; at least for the first part of this year. If we look at the entire assortment, we will find a matching camera for every type of photographer. The compact camera assortment of Canon is very well-planned, powerful and has a clear composition.

Shockproof and waterproof cameras

Waterproof and shockproof digital cameras are likely to become the hit of 2009, or at least; if it is up to the manufacturer. Various famous brands such as Olympus, Canon and Fujifilm have all introduced their own version of this type of camera, however, corporations such as General Imaging are also beginning to see the light. Although GE still seems unable to really get things started with a solidly built assortment of digital cameras, General Imaging did introduce the GE G3WP at the PMA 2009 show. The GE G3WP is a waterproof digital camera that can be used to a maximum depth of 10 feet. It features 12.2 Megapixels and an 4x optical zoom, all of which should add to the freedom of the active outdoor photographer, in order to capture his or her favorite moment.

Canon PowerShot SX200 IS

Canon strengthens its PowerShot range of digital cameras with the launch of the PowerShot SX200 IS - a new Super Zoom model in a strikingly compact body. With a wide-angle (28mm) 12x optical zoom lens and powered by Canon’s DIGIC 4 processor for ultra-fast performance and outstanding image quality, this 12.1 Megapixel camera is the ideal travel companion. The PMA International Convention and Trade Show is known to attract many visitors from all over the World. Professional photographers, retailers, repurchase organizations, and just about every person related to digital imaging. The PMA 2009 offers many chances to enhance your network and to experience new possibilities. Naturally, these activities are followed closely by a large number of journalists.
