Kodak EasyShare V570 Digital Camera
According to information from PC World who published a list of their 2006 PC World Innovations Awards we got some more detailed information about the Kodak V570 digital camera. PC World has awarded Kodak in the category Cameras and Camcorders with an Innovation Award. The award was issued due to the fact that Kodak designed a special construction to make it possible to incorporated two lenses and two CCD image sensors. At first it seems a non-logical move because you could also choose for an optical zoom lens, but reading the information further Kodak is offering a real wide lens in combination with a 3x optical zoom lens, so the Kodak EasyShare V570 will feature a fixed focal and an optical zoom lens!

For this price you will get a compact digital camera with a real wide lens of 23mm (equiv. on 35mm camera), a 3x optical zoom lens with a focal lenght of 39 - 117mm (equiv. on 35mm camera) and two CCD image sensors each offering 5 Megapixel resolution.

Kodak EasyShare V570 digital camera - 5 Megapixels - The dual-lens EasyShare V570 digital camera is able to combine the two lenses resulting into a magnification of 5x. The word is that Kodak designed the Kodak EasyShare V570 in this unique way to maintain the ultra small and compact dimensions of the camera. Be aware of the fact that Kodak has not official announced the Kodak V570 camera yet, but I hope Kodak will get the award for an existing digital EasyShare camera...
