Fuji FinePix V10 Preview |

We have just received a sample of the brand new Fuji FinePix V10. Although the sample is in a pre-production status we can give you an exclusive inside look of the compact Fuji V10 digital camera. This brand new FinePix model comes in two colours (Gunmetal or Orange finish), features the Real Photo Technology and is equipped with an ultra large 3 inch monitor. It's only been a year since manufacturers have started to use large 3 inch displays for their prestigious products. Once you have worked with such a large display you never want to go back to a smaller sized one. The Fuji V10 incorporates a 5.1 Megapixel Super CCD HR sensor which already attained high scores regarding excellent noise/signal ratio at high ISO values. The improved version of the Super CCD offers higher resolutions and less noise, a welcoming combination.

Fuji FinePix V10 Preview - The Fuji V10 is one very nicely designed digital camera. Its huge display offers enormous comfort when taking pictures or viewing your captured moments. It is just great to see the colourful images on such a big screen. Although there is almost no space left on the back of the camera for the necessary buttons I find the spot just below the monitor a perfectly chosen place. The resolution of 5.1 Megapixel is less than competitive brands have introduced in their compact designed cameras, but thanks to the high quality Super CCD HR image sensor and the combination of the Real Photo Technology Fujifilm offers a more powerful combination. Improving the image quality instead of simply increasing Megapixels proves to be far more worthwhile, at least in this stage.

Fuji FinePix V10 Preview - Although I have had the Fuji FinePix V10 only for a short time in the office, and the status of this model is of pre-productions, I am impressed. The Fuji V10 is compact, highly attractive, offers a large 3 inch monitor and is easy to handle. Years ago Fujifilm started to use their own Super CCD concept. In the beginning there were many out there who doubted the technical potential or just did not think of the impact this small sensor could have in future compact digital cameras. Fujifilm has proven to be right and invested a long time ago in the future. Being able to deliver a compact digital camera that has no difficulties in handling noise issues is of high interest nowadays. I can only assume that some manufacturers would be eager to get this sensor into their own series of digital cameras...
