Nikon Coolpix Series, New Compact and Design models intrduced at the PMA 2006 Orlando - Just some days before the International Convention and Trade Show - PMA 2006- in Orlando, US, begins we bring you the latest digital camera introductions from Nikon. First the entry-level Nikon Coolpix L-series; the Nikon Coolpix L2 offers an effective Megapixel value of 6.0, boasts a 3x Zoom-Nikkor lens and a bright 2.0-inch LCD screen with in-camera image-improvement features. The Nikon L3 and Nikon Coolpix L4 are sharing more or less the same features with the exception of a 5.0 Megapixel resolution for the L3 and 4 Megapixels for the L4. The L-series are followed by the introduction of the stylish S-models. The Nikon Coolpix S5 provides 6.0 Megapixels and combines a 2.5-inch LCD monitor with the new Pictmotion function that lets users create in-camera entertainment. The Nikon Coolpix S6 shares the same resolution and features but adds a 3-inch LCD and IEEE 802.11b/g support. Nikon concludes their Spring 2006 line of digital cameras with the introduction of the new P-series. The Nikon Coolpix P4 incorporates a high resolution 8.1 Megapixel CCD, 3.5x optical zoom, 2.5-inch LCD and includes Nikon's innovative VR (Vibration Reduction). The Nikon Coolpix P3 adds WiFi support to its rich featured system. The Nikon digital camera line-up is interesting for the entry-level and more demanding amateur photographer.
