Fujifilm FinePix S20 Pro - PMA 2004
This new FinePix top model features a 6.2 Megapixel Super CCD SR sensor technology. This fairly new technology (introduction January 2003) exists of 3.1 million effective S-pixels and 3.1 million effective R-pixels. This 4th generation Super CCD offers high quality images and the sensor that has been used in this new model provides a resolution of 2832x2128 recorded pixels. One of the benefits of using this new technology is the dramatically increased dynamic range. Although not every situation is getting the most out of this sensor, it does give that extra quality in high contrast situations! The optical lens that Fujifilm uses with the new FinePix S20 Pro camera is the same as we have seen with the S7000 camera. The S20 Pro has a Super EBC Fujinon 6x optical zoom lens and can be enhanced with a 2.2x digital zoom.
