Another new digital camera from Canon has also been spotted on the Internet, this digital camera seems to be a stylish designed camera with a 3.2 million effective Megapixels. The optical focal range is 3x with a 3.2x digital zoom. The image will be stored on a removable CompactFlash type I card. On the back of the digital camera is a 1.5-inch color LCD screen. For power the Canon PowerShot A70 uses 2xAA batteries. Additional new features of this new PowerShot camera are an Exclusive Canon Digic imaging processor for sharper images and faster processing, High-speed 5-point automatic focus 12 shooting modes, including aperture or shutter speed priority, night scène and movie.

The Powershot A70 is capable of recording up to 3 minutes of video with sound (built-in microphone), a built-in flash with red-eye reduction, self-timer can be set for 2 or 10 seconds, USB interface and audio/video outputs. System requirements are Windows 98, 2000, ME or XP and Mac OS 9.0 to 9.2 or OS X (10.1/10.2). The new Canon PowerShot A70 camera weights 7.58 ounces.
