PMA 2010 news - Sony announces it's new CyberShot camera, the DSC-H55. The Sony CyberShot DSC H55 offers superb optical performance in a compact, elegantly styled body thatís great for travel or everyday shooting. Assuring detailed, low-noise images, the 14.1 megapixel sensor is teamed with a high performance G Lens. Unique to Sony, this premium lens offers a powerful 10x optical zoom range to handle virtually any shooting situation - from wide angle landscapes and group shots to dramatic close-ups. The Sony H55 also offers enhanced Optical SteadyShot image stabilisation with Active Mode that now offers up to 10x more shake correction while youíre shooting HD video.
Sony DSC-H55 offers Sweep Panorama
Intelligent Sweep Panorama enhances an acclaimed CyberShot feature. Itís so easy to use: just press the shutter button once and sweep the camera across the scene. The Sony DSC-H55 automatically stitches together a burst of high resolution frames to create a single extra wide image. Perfect for landscapes or big family gatherings, this feature now offers improved processing for seamless panoramas, even when people are moving in the frame. Other features on the Sony CyberShot H55 include 720p HD movie recording, Face Detection/Smile Shutter and Intelligent Auto mode for fuss-free shooting in any situation.

The Sony CyberShot H55 camera is also compatible with a wide range of official CyberShot accessories by Sony. The new Sony CyberShot DSC-H55 compact digital still camera is available from end March 2010.
