Time for some real digital camera news! We received some information about an upcoming Fujifilm camera release. According to this info Fujifilm will soon announce the Fujifilm FinePix S1730 megazoom camera. The Fujifilm S1730 will feature a 12 Megapixel image sensor and an impressive 15x optical zoom lens and Dual Image Stabilisation. This new Fujifilm camera is developed for the amateur photographer offering enough resolution and a versatile zoom range (28-420 mm), Face Detection technology with automatic in-camera red eye fix, Dual Image Stabilisation (combining CCD-shift with high ISO), ISO levels of up to ISO 6400, and 720p HD video.

In addition to the 15x optical zoom range, the Fujifilm FinePix S1730 features combined CCD-shift and image stabilisation to avoid the effects of camera shake at longer shutter speeds. Once the scene in the frame has been detected, the Fujifilm FinePix S1730 camera will optimize the settings to capture the most stunning photo of your chosen subject. Handy, indeed, especially for the amateur photographer who is not really into photographic settings like metering, white balance, etc. Additionally, Portrait Mode works combined with Face Detection technology will provide high quality portraits, and instantly removes any red-eye problem.
