Ijust ran into Nadav from Fantasea Line who gave me an exclusive look at brand new underwater housing for the Nikon D40x digital SLR camera that was introduced just a week ago. The Fantasea Nikon D40x underwater case will be introduced next month, but thanks to Nadav you are able to get a first look of this brand new product. As soon as the product is officially introduced we will give you an update about the specifications as to weight, dimensions, etc. I believe the Nikon D40x will be very popular, also for the enthusiastic underwater photographer with the availability of the new Fantasea underwater housing, offering 10 Megapixel, 3 fps, low sensitivity of 100 ISO and longer-lasting battery.

The Nikon D40x boasts a 10.2 Megapixel CCD image sensor that combines with Nikon’s exclusive 3D Colour Matrix Metering II and auto white balance to produce quality shots that capture the vivid detail and true colour of the subject matter. The Nikon D40x is equipped with the compact, lightweight 3x 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G ED II AF-S DX Zoom-Nikkor lens to provide superb picture sharpness and optimum contrast. An ample 2.5-inch LCD screen means the budding photographer can view, manipulate and navigate their images with ease.
