While most exhibit booths at the Photo Marketing Association trade show are displaying imaging equipment, the KIS Photo-Me Group is dedicating significant space in its booth to My Creativ’ Corner - where show attendees can see and brainstorm ideas for creative consumer photo products that increase a photo retailer’s profits as well as its reputation among consumers, KIS Photo-Me Group said. In My Creativ’ Corner, KIS Photo-Me Group imaging experts will present and discuss numerous creative photo product concepts to stimulate attendees’ ideas for creating fun, exciting photo products that consumers today say they want. All of the display samples can be produced using KIS Photo-Me Group imaging products.

And all of them - plus new possibilities that could arise as part of in-booth brainstorming - can place photo retailers in the midst of the consumer digital imaging revolution and generate new revenues for their businesses, the company said. “The number of photos being taken today exceeds anything we could have imagined just 10 years ago, and it keeps growing,” said Thierry Villard, President of KIS Photo-Me Group. “Turning those photos into high-margin keepsake memories is the challenge, and so we’ve come to PMA with My Creativ’ Corner - not just with the tools to produce consumer photo products, but also with an encyclopedia of creative ideas to help retailers get the most of out our tools.”

Villard said KIS Photo-Me Group has a global vision of providing economical tools to retailers that will enable them to produce a range of profitable, creative photo products and to escape the print price wars being waged around the world. Part of that vision is to educate photo retailers regarding the potential of the consumer photo products market and the many high-margin, customized offerings that are possible today through exhibits and presentations like My Creativ’ Corner, he said.

There are multiple camera manufacturers offering their best own brand solution for its DSLR camera, but there are even more specialized lens manufacturers who offer an impressive number of lens solutions too.
