The PhotoBookPro photo album creation system, introduced last fall at the photokina trade show in Cologne, Germany, makes its U.S. debut at the Photo Marketing Association trade show here, where it is the centerpiece of the KIS Photo-Me Group exhibit booth. An open-architecture production system that works very well with the company’s “Generation 2 & 3” DKS minilabs and is powered by a variant of its My Creativ’ Album software, PhotoBookPro automatically scores, joins, folds and binds picture pages into quality photo books up to 12x8 inches in size. Our new PhotoBookPro simplifies and accelerates the on-site production of picture books, calendars, greeting cards and other photo-based keepsakes.

KIS Photo Book maker
“Anyone with My Creativ’ Album software - the retailer with a minilab, or a consumer at a networked kiosk or even at home on a PC - can design a 30-page, 5x7-inch photo book with soft or hard cover and have it assembled in about three minutes for a very affordable price.” The advantages of the PhotoBookPro are numerous, the company said. Compared to other options that usually take days, the entire process - from order and design to binding and delivery - is very fast, so consumers can shop or run errands while their photo book is being produced.

KIS photo album maker - Production
Photo products are produced on real photo paper, not inkjet images on paper stock. All of the background themes, layout templates, text and graphic treatments, editing and other digital embellishments found in My Creativ’ Album are available when using the PhotoBookPro, KIS Photo-Me said. Photo books, from 3.5x5 inches to 12x8 inches in size, can include up to 15 two-sided sheets displaying up to eight images per sheet - or up to 120 pictures, the company said. They are produced automatically, while other available offerings, such as calendars and greeting cards, are created in a non-cumbersome semi-automatic production process.

KIS PhotoBookPro photo album maker - Availability
The PhotoBookPro is compact, requiring less than 5.5 square feet of space. With its open-architecture design, its helps increase the use and productivity of the DKS minilab or any other minilab being utilized, allowing retailers to get the most from their capital investment, KIS Photo-Me said. The PhotoBookPro is available for immediate delivery.
