We are pleased to announce the debut of a new entry-level compact digital camera, the Fujifilm Digital Camera FinePix A610 in the overseas market, realizing even higher performance in our high quality ‘A‘ series range. For the first time in Fujifilm’s ‘A’ series the A610 camera features the unique Super CCD and RP (Real Photo) Processor, for delivery of sharp images with minimal noise. With 6.1 Megapixels, the Fujifilm A610 camera appeals to first time buyers looking for outstanding performance at an affordable price. The FinePix A610 features Fujifilm’s “Intelligent Flash” technology, which measures the size and position of the subject and sets flash power output and exposure level accordingly.

Fujifilm A610 - Design & Features
Intelligent Flash delivers natural looking images without the ‘washed out’ effect that can be the result of traditional on-camera flash. The FinePix A610 features 14 scene position modes. Ease of use is key to the design of the FinePix A610, with a simple button layout that makes the camera ideal for first time users. The Fujifilm A610 features a newly designed mode dial, enabling users to quickly select scene position modes with their thumb. Framing photographs is made easy with a large 2.5” LCD monitor with an anti-reflective coating to prevent glare when shooting in daylight.

Fujifilm FinePix A610 - Memory & Battery
In a first for Fujifilm’s compact digital camera range, the FinePix A610 features a xD/SD compatible slot which accepts Fujifilm’s traditional xD-Picture Cards, but also Secure Digital (SD) cards. The Fujifilm FinePix A610 digital camera is powered by two AA-size batteries, which are readily available around the world. Pricing will be available near the sales date off march 2007.
